Three Countries, In Full

Nothing shortened, nothing skipped.

This route doesn't take a shortcut through any of the three countries — it's our full Kazakhstan circuit (Mangystau, Astana, Turkestan, Almaty), followed by the complete Kyrgyzstan arc from Bishkek down to Osh in the south, followed by all four of Uzbekistan's great Silk Road cities.

The Osh crossing is what makes this version different from our other KZ+KG+UZ route — instead of flying into Uzbekistan from Bishkek, we travel overland all the way south, ending Kyrgyzstan at Sulayman-Too before crossing the border.

WEST: MANGYSTAU

Arrival in AktauArrival on the Caspian coast. Transfer to hotel, evening walk along the Caspian Sea.

Mangystau IValley of Balls (Torysh), Airakty, Sherkala. Overnight in a traditional yurt.

Mangystau IIKyzylkup (Tiramisu hills), 3 panoramas of Bozzhira. Return to Aktau.
